In the past 8 years, I worked with a variety of clients, using a diverse array of technologies to create web and mobile experiences that are rich, accessible and intuitive. I am passionate about good design, interesting products and best practices, both on the client side, and the server side.
I don't like being tied up with a specific technology in the ever-evolving online world. However, I have found a very good balance of speed and functionality in Python and Django. After working with these tools for the past few years, they have become centric to my craft. For mobile development, I truly enjoy working on the iPhone platform and the Cocoa framework. JavaScript is another area that I am passionate in.
My background in visual arts is very important to me. I continue to be involved in the art community in Toronto and experiment with photography whenever I find the time.

- 8 years of web development experience with Python, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript and ActionScript
- Experience with building iPhone applications using Objective-C
- An excellent understanding of interface development techniques, browser quirks, semantic and accessible HTML
- Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django, CakePHP and Drupal
- A specialized interest in JavaScript and emerging libraries such as jQuery, MooTools and Prototype
- Professional level knowledge of Flash and ActionScript 2 and 3
- Advanced Linux user, capable of deploying and maintaining web applications
- Ability to easily communicate with designers and respect their work in every detail, thanks to a background in visual arts
